My Bookkeeper
My Bookkeeper is a private, internal integration that gives Berkeley Fit LLC read-only access to its own QuickBooks Online accounting data for bookkeeping review and financial analysis.
It is not a commercial product. There is no public sign-up, no hosted service, and no other organization's data passes through it. It is operated by and for a single company on that company's own books.
How it works
- Runs locally
- The integration runs as a local process on a computer controlled by Berkeley Fit LLC. There is no multi-tenant server holding QuickBooks data.
- Read-only
- Create, update, and delete operations are disabled in configuration. The integration queries accounting records and reports; it does not write to the company file.
- Scope
- A single OAuth 2.0 scope,
com.intuit.quickbooks.accounting, against one connected company.
- AI assistance
- Retrieved accounting data may be summarized and analyzed by an AI assistant operating under the company's control and subject to that provider's data-protection terms. Data is not used to train third-party models.
Data handling
- OAuth tokens are stored locally, restricted to the operating user, and are never transmitted to any third party other than Intuit.
- Accounting data is retrieved on demand for analysis. No copy is published, sold, or shared outside the company.
- Access can be revoked at any time from QuickBooks Online. See Disconnect.
