End-user license agreement

Last updated 9 September 2026

My Bookkeeper ("the Software") is internal software owned and operated by Berkeley Fit LLC ("the Company"). It is not licensed, sold, distributed, or otherwise made available to the public.

1. Permitted use

Use of the Software is limited to the Company and to individuals the Company has authorized. Authorized users may use the Software solely to read and analyze the Company's own accounting data for internal bookkeeping, reporting, and financial review.

2. Restrictions

Authorized users may not use the Software to access accounting data belonging to any other organization, and may not redistribute, sublicense, or publish the Software or the data it retrieves.

3. Scope of access

The Software requests read-only access to a single QuickBooks Online company. Operations that create, modify, or delete records are disabled in its configuration.

4. No warranty

The Software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It is an analysis aid and does not constitute accounting, tax, audit, or legal advice. Figures it reports must be verified against the source accounting system before being relied upon for filings or financial decisions.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Berkeley Fit LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Software.

6. Termination

The Company may withdraw authorization at any time. Access to QuickBooks Online data may be revoked independently at any time from QuickBooks. See Disconnect.

7. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
